About Emma

Built on years of seeing what works — and what doesn't

I've spent my career helping organisations improve complex operational environments — leading teams, transforming services, solving problems and helping organisations create greater value.

Along the way, I've learned that the answers rarely come from looking at one part of an organisation in isolation. They come from understanding the operation, the people, the customer and what is happening on the ground.

Today, I bring that perspective to organisations looking for experienced senior input, whether that's helping to shape a transformation, strengthen performance, navigate change or add capability at the right moment’

Beyond the numbers...

I’ve spent my career working in complex operational environments — sometimes leading them, sometimes transforming them, and often being brought in to work out what could be done differently.

My experience spans facilities and workplace operations, transformation, mobilisation, customer value, commercial improvement and innovation — from individual sites and estates to international portfolios. Having worked on both sides of the table, as client and service provider, I understand the pressures, expectations and realities from both perspectives.

Some of that experience in numbers:

$18m

Savings generated through a workplace transformation programme I developed, reducing an office portfolio by 45% over five years.

Growth opportunities identified within a major life sciences account through strategic planning, customer engagement and value creation.

Led transformation and value creation across the international portfolio of a major global FMCG business.

€1.6m
89 sites
£25m
€244k

Annual budget responsibility across an 80,000 sqm UK & Ireland office portfolio.

Grew and engaged a global innovation community through active management and promotion, increasing participation across the international business.

Additional profit generated through commercial improvements within a major life sciences account.

40,000 + people

I’ve consolidated offices into new headquarters, decommissioned and relocated major workplaces, mobilised operations for a major UK bank and supported TUPE transfers.

I’ve also carried out due diligence, solutioning and service transformation across Technology, Life Sciences and Financial Services

I’ve found opportunities by getting into the detail too — including €135k of savings through a GMP task-and-frequency review in France and more than €70k through global service benchmarking.

I’ve created operating models, service playbooks, benchmarks, governance frameworks and implementation tools that helped teams turn ideas into consistent delivery across multiple locations and countries.

Experience, Applied

Seeing the whole picture — and the detail that matters.

Experience has taught me that operational, commercial and customer challenges rarely sit neatly in isolation. A change in one area almost always has consequences somewhere else.

I look across the operation, the people, the customer and the commercial position — as well as what is happening on the ground — before deciding where attention will make the greatest difference.

How I work

Woman walking through a working facilities service corridor with a clipboard,
Woman walking through a working facilities service corridor with a clipboard,

Getting close enough to understand what’s really happening.

I don’t rely on reports and dashboards alone.

I spend time with the people delivering and receiving services, ask questions, listen carefully and see the operation first-hand.

I look for the gaps between what should be happening and what is actually happening — and test assumptions rather than simply accepting them.

That gives me the insight to focus attention where it will make the greatest difference and turn what I find into practical action.

What to expect

I’ll bring experience and an independent perspective, but I won’t arrive assuming I already know the answer. I’ll work alongside you and your teams, adapt to what the situation needs and be straightforward about what I see.

No jargon. No unnecessary complexity. Just honest conversations, clear thinking and experience applied where it’s needed most.
